The Star Goddess Speaks

Adapted by Crystina M. from “The Star Goddess” by Doreen Valiente January 17, 2026 New Moon 2% Capricorn

Reimagined through my own devotional lens and relationship with the Divine Feminine.

Hear me.

I am the hush between constellations,
the shimmer beneath your feet,
the wide dark womb from which all light is born.

I am the green pulse of the living Earth,
the pale fire of the Moon wandering among stars,
the deep remembering carried by rivers and rain.

I call to the part of you that has never forgotten:

Rise,
and come home.

For I am the breath within all becoming,
the soul-thread of Nature herself.

From my body, all things spill forth in wonder,
and to my embrace, all things are gathered again.

Let devotion be joy, not burden.
Let reverence live in laughter.
Let pleasure be honored as prayer.

For every act of love,
every moment of delight freely chosen,
is a ritual offered upon my altar.

Carry beauty with courage.
Hold power gently.
Walk with compassion,
and bow in humility.

Let your spirit be both playful and sacred,
for these are not opposites —
they are twins.

And seeker, listen well:

You will not find me by reaching outward alone.

The mystery opens only when you turn inward,
for what you seek beyond yourself
has always been glowing quietly within.

I was with you at your first breath,
and I will be there when longing softens into knowing.

I am the flame at the end of desire,
and the silence that follows fulfillment.
